about

We wuz on patrol inna arctic circle when we come upon a group of fishermen justa whompin' away at some baby seals! After runnin' them varmits off fer good, we set down abit 'n' jawed the fat with some of the seals. As it turned out, they were more than upset about the fuss the world's been a makin' over Elvis with no apparent regard for reality.

lyrics

Ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch
Ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch
We deserve a stamp like Elvis!
Ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch
Ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch
We deserve a stamp like Elvis!

You jump off your boats and
Beat us with your clubs
Bash in our legs
'Til all we got are stubs
Ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch
Ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch
We deserve a stamp like Elvis!

Ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch
Ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch
We deserve a stamp like Elvis!
Ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch
Ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch
We deserve a stamp like Elvis!

Elvis had them hits
Since 1953
That's nothin' compared
To the hits they put on me!
Ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch
Ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch
We deserve a stamp like Elvis!

Ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch
Ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch
We deserve a stamp like Elvis!
Ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch
Ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch
We deserve a stamp like Elvis!

You bust up our skulls
And sit around and gloat
Walk into town
And sell my skin to make a coat
Ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch
Ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch
We deserve a stamp like Elvis!

about

Bluegrass Police Los Angeles, California

In the summer of 1986, in the hills of Pennsylvania, the Bluegrass Police were born. In pursuit of Hilarity the BGP poke fun at human behavior by touching on topics of racism, sterotypes, segregation, poverty, sexuality, brutality, domestic tension, etc. They poke fun at these human phenomena all the while denouncing the abuses. It is truly clever poetry crafted by Robert Gabig and Jack Bishop. ... more
